About

I have been with embedded software industry from 2000 to 2008, after which I joined Lero - the Irish Software Engineering Research Center, at University of Limerick, Ireland.

in the period 2000-2008, I have worked with;
1- the avionics dept. at  Hongdu Aviation at Nanchang, China. I had been working in the design of the on-board software of the K-8 jet trainer avionics systems.
2- The software dept. Aerospace Research Center at Cairo, Egypt. I had been working in designing and implementing CAD software package, and rapid prototyping of on-board avionics software with Simulink.
3- and finally with the Global Business Services group at IBM, Cairo, Egypt. While there, I had been working and consulting for an automotive electronics/software supplier.

Currently, I am working for PhD degree at University of Limerick. I am researching a state-based abstraction model of software system behavior, that can be used in specifying any property in the system's state space in a regular way. The aim of the regular specifications is to enable the use of control-engineering based methodology to adapt the software  to changes in the surrounding environment.
